Lake Mburo National Park’s 260 km² comprises a wide variety of habitats. Rolling grassland hills, savannah valleys, woodland.
Supporting a large diversity of megafauna. It is the best place to find eland, zebra and impala in Uganda.
The lake system is alive with hippos, crocs and waterbirds including the magnificent shoebill. The predators are mainly active at night and include hyena, leopard and recently lions have returned to the area.
